Linn County Circuit Court Courthouse
In 1851, the Oregon Territorial Legislature passed an act establishing Albany was designated as the county seat in 1851 and the original county courthouse was erected in 1853. It was then destroyed by fire in 1861. A second courthouse was built in 1865, and the present courthouse was constructed in 1940.
